NB8 Nordic Circle Mentoring Program is a capacity building mentorship program and network for dance producers. The aim is to strengthen the infrastructure for management, production and distribution of contemporary dance in the Nordic and Baltic region. NB8 Mentoring Program is a joint initiative of contemporary dance organizations in Nordic countries, with associate partners in the Baltic countries and other Nordic regions.

In 2022-24, NB8 Mentoring Program will carry out a mentoring program for dance producers and managers, with two mentoring cycles of one year each.

For each mentoring program cycle, 8 mentees will be selected through the open call. They will be matched with an experienced mentor from another country, for the duration of one year. The group of mentees and mentors will become an invaluable peer network across the Nordic and Baltic borders.

Partner organizations of the program are Arts Management Helsinki, SITE Sweden, JC Copenhagen, Performing Arts Hub Norway and Dansverkstæðið.

Associated partners are New Theatre Institute of Latvia, Plartforma Lithuania, Estonian Dance Agency. Associated partners in the other Nordic regions: Qiajuk Studios, Greenland; The Nordic House, Faroe Islands; Nordic Institute on Åland (NIPÅ).
